THE LAST WEEK OF SUMMER

THE LAST WEEK OF SUMMER
THE LAST BANK HOLIDAY OF THE YEAR, THE LAST WEEK OF SUMMER

Unfortunately we are in the last week of summer and with the 31st of August marking the last day of summer, we'll soon be waking up to the cold mornings and windy days. Moreover, it was the last bank holiday of the year on Monday and right now I am so not looking forward to a busy September.  So far, the nice weather we have enjoyed  has left me wanting  the summer to remain for a bit more. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to a beautiful and colourful autumn.

So what have I been up to since my last post? Well, I've been spending time looking at how I can improve the contents on the website. Additionally,  I'm getting ready for work and studies. I have been spending lots of my time trying to get as much CPD I can get done now that I'm at home and not leave it till I start work. Interestingly, as much as I dreaded the late nights in the library and the stressful days of exams, I feel refreshed and even more ready now to embark on another academic adventure.  However, the consequence of this is that I'll be even more busier than before. With a tight work and academic schedule I'm now considering a possible collaboration with like minded folks with passion for fashion. In the meantime, I'll continue to ensure that Laudablestyles remains the source of fashion inspiration at all times.

Talking of fashion, the highlight of this summer has been the t-shirts, shorts and the accessories. However, I've  recently been obsessing over floral pattern fabrics and imagining what a summer outfit could look like using them. My take on it is that if selected properly and carefully, fabrics with floral patterns can add elegance and class to one's style, especially during the summer period. I shall continue with my obsession and imagination over this coming months as well and who knows, something might come out of these imagination and obsession as time goes on.

Great snaps. Nothing like a change of season to recalibrate yourself.

It sounds like you had a good summer and might be more busy in the near future. I wish you the best with your future projects! I have started to become even more busy with the college fall semester starting again. I’m just trying to manage my time and priorities to keep it all afloat!

Really good pictures, I love summer but I have to admit being pregnant with this hot weather was not ideal…so I’m looking forward to the colder days!

Thank you Aurelie. I would have thought being pregnant during summer is much nicer because of the warm weather. Anyways, the warmer days are over now and you can start enjoying the cold autumn. Stay blessed.
