Hello everyone. This lovely piece was written up and put together at the early hours of the morning on the last day of my visit to the Mancunian land; Manchester, two weeks ago. I was there for three days to attend the corporate induction for my new employment commencing this September.
The visit to the Mancunian land was a last minute thing meaning that I had little time to prepare. However, I managed to park few basics that will last me for two nights. In this day and age, figuring out what to wear, how to wear it and when to wear it is an important skill that every fashion oriented person should master.
The basics in my bag were pieces that catered for both the professional and casual need of my trip. Heading to Manchester on the first day, I went for a black suit and a light grey shirt over a slim fit chinos trousers for a professional look. You can never go wrong with a perfectly ironed white shirt or any light plain coloured shirt on a black trousers. These are perfect choices for both professional and non-professional environment. You are guaranteed to look smart with a suit and even dapper without a suit. To draw attention to my outfit I went for a black and white patterned socks with my brown loafer shoes.
On the second day, I went for a dark grey suit and a white tailored fit shirt on a light grey suit trousers. The look was perfected with a black faux suede tassel loafer shoe.
I had the opportunity to visit the Trafford Centre with a couple of friends and it was a lovely experience. A huge shopping centre; I was lucky I left my wallet in my hotel room otherwise I would have been unable to resist the temptation of shopping. Having said that, I still had enough cash for food; a temptation that I fell for big time.
