Of course! why not. As the the saying goes, "when in Rome do as the Romans do" therefore, it is fair to say when in Lithuania eat Lithuanian. When in Lithuania, you really want to try Cepelinai.  Cepelinai also called didžkukuliai is the traditional Lithuanian dish of stuffed potato dumplings. The name came about due to the shape of the dumpling resembling the Zeppelin airship. Recipe for making the dish can be found here. The first Cepelinai dish I had was at this guest house called Marmos Virtuve back in 2013.  However, these days whenever I am in Lithuania, I normally go to  CAN CAN PIZZA for a dish of nicely cooked Cepelinai.
CAN CAN pizza is a popular restaurant chain in Lithuania where you can enjoy different types of hot dishes, salad, and traditional Lithuanian soups. The one I visited this time around was the one at Akropolis (a large shopping centre) in Vilnius. Oh boy! the shopping centre was huge, very huge, and very huge. One thing I love about the CAN CAN pizza restaurants in general is their modern look, layout and cool atmosphere.

The staff at the Akropolis CAN CAN pizza were very professional and always ready to help. On arrival we received a warm welcome and taken to where we sat. We were handed the menu to choose from the variety of dishes available. After choosing what we wanted, we had to wait for the food the cooked. Whilst waiting, we entertained ourselves by watching the people that were ice skating just below where we sat (the restaurant was built around and above the ice skating center in the big shopping mall).

As we only wanted pizza and Cepelinai,  the pizza we went for was the  RICH pizza topped with Salami, ham, onions, canned bell peppers, and green peppers (Jalapeno). We went for the largest one (50 cm) which was shared between four people. The food arrived in no time and all I can say is that it was above my expectation. The pizza was well cooked with a thin crust that wasn't too dry or overcooked. Likewise, the Cepelinai was succulent and exceptional as it was perfectly cooked throughout and dished with well fried bacon and chopped onion, and yogurt.

All of the food looks marvelous here. The pizza looks delicious with all of the different toppings on it. And the onion, as well as the ice cream, would be amazing.
